Sawasdee Thai Cafe

Sawasdee Thai Cafe
200 S Main St
Plymouth, MI 48170
(734) 459-0963

I discovered this Thai restaurant in downtown Plymouth recently. It’s place that moved from Madison Heights a few years ago which you can now find on Main Street right outside of the center of downtown in a building that’s setback from the street with a small parking lot. From the outside it just says “Thai Cafe” but inside it’s a purely family-run business. There is almost too many Thai restaurants in Metro Detroit to choose from with Little Bangkok Cuisine also in downtown Plymouth but Sawasdee deserves recognition. The food is good and the portions are humongous. Seriously, you’ll have plenty of noodles left over for the next 24 hours. Anyways, those who live in and around downtown Plymouth are lucky to have this nearby.

I can recommend the pad woon sen and the pad thai although the pad thai curry is a bit spicy and wet. I think you should choose to either eat fried noodles or curry sauce but not both.
