Ever watch video of other cities that make them look glamorous (Los Angeles, Las Vegas), whether it be skyline panoramas or whatever? Finally, it’s Detroit’s turn (not counting the Detroit bid for the Olympics from decades ago!). Entitled “New 2007 MGM Grand Detroit - Ignite Your Senses” it’s from and for the new, permanent MGM Grand Detroit casino which is taking up much of the northwest corner of downtown Detroit. In reality, the casino really is adding some touches of luxury to the city, especially on the interior. The video is about getting people to be aware of the amenities inside but doesn’t do a bad job of highlighting the ones already around the city.
